Thank you for your interest in working with the Washington County Board of County Commissioners. Please refer to the instructions below to apply for vacancies within our agency. Applications for Employment will be accepted for advertised positions only. Unsolicited applications/resumes will be returned to the applicant. All current employees and outside applicants must submit an Application for Employment. In addition to an Application for Employment, resumes may be submitted if desired. Resumes alone will not be considered.
It is important that your application shows all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. Attaching a resume in place of relevant education and experience (required to be completed on the application) will be considered incomplete and may be rejected.
Vacancies are advertised on the BOCC website, with the Chipley One Stop Career Center, on various County Bulletin Boards and occasionally with area newspapers. All Employment Applications must be received by the Human Resources Department by the closing date and time of the vacancy advertisement.
Applications will be accepted via mail, facsimile, email and hand delivery. Telephone inquiries will not be considered. Applicants will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
Mail your application or drop them off at the front desk at:
