Get ready, Washington County!

The 2nd Annual Washington County Fire Games are happening Saturday, September 6 at the Possum Palace in Wausau!

Come watch your local firefighters show off their skills, strength, and teamwork in a day of fun, friendly competition. This tradition, started last year by Greenhead District Chief Greg Cole, is all about celebrating our crews, honoring those we lost on 9/11, and bringing the community together.

Kids can get in on the action too! We’ll have miniature firefighter games where youth can try out smaller versions of the same challenges. Perfect way for the little ones to join the fun!

Gates open at 8 AM

Opening ceremony at 10 AM

All events will be held on the baseball field next to the Possum Palace
