Washington County Final Plat Review Checklist
This is a checklist for those preparing final plats. Any conflict with the Land Development Code should be brought to the attention of the development administrator at lwaller@washingtonfl.com. We have attempted to include all applicable technical requirement of Chapter 177, Platting, Florida Statues and Article 6, Land Development Code.
The Washington County Planning Office monitors the Land Development Code and offers options to sellers, buyers, real estate agents, and developers of property within the county boundaries. In accordance with the Washington County Comprehensive Plan, this office also performs the administrative functions for the municipalities of Caryville, Ebro, Vernon, and Wausau along with the unincorporated areas of the county.
If you need information on a single parcel of property, it is best to fax the property information to (850) 415-5094. Include all information known about the property (road name, property ID, owner of record, and any other information) that will assist the staff in locating the parcel on the Future Land Use Map. The Planning staff will respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.
Real Estate Agents – to assist you in locating future land uses for multiple pieces of property, you may, for a small fee, purchase a Future Land Use Map in color. Call (850) 415-5093 to place your order.
